The Russian army invaded Ukraine more than a year ago. This was on the orders of Putin and his regime. A year of indescribable suffering and bloodshed for the Ukrainian people but also a year of solidarity with Ukraine.
The completely unjustified invasion has already claimed the lives of tens of thousands of Ukrainian civilians. Many of those casualties are children. The invasion has also resulted in the deaths of numerous soldiers. Every day Russia confronts the Ukrainian population with cruelty and violence. Millions of citizens were forced to flee abroad. Millions more were displaced at home. Others were deported to distant areas in Russia.
Entire towns and villages destroyed by Russia to rubble by the Russian bombings and air raids. The civilian infrastructure (electricity and heating network, schools, hospitals, railways, ports, nuclear power plants, dams, etc.) systematically destroyed Russia, making Russia the country unlivable. That is why solidarity with Ukraine is more than necessary now and in the future.
Putin wants to make an independent and liveable Ukraine impossible:
The Russian army committed mass murders of civilians and Ukrainian soldiers in many places. The fate of many thousands is still unknown. Mass rape campaigns and rape murders are established attack strategies.,with every liberation of a Ukrainian village or city, new crimes come to light.(torture)
Russians deported many Ukrainian citizens, including many thousands of children, to the territory of Russia. This was done without permission and often by force. Your continued solidarity with Ukraine is necessary. It will help to give all these people back a healthy place in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian people refuse to be passive victims of this war of aggression. They actively and massively oppose the invasion, with or without weapons in hand. Widespread mutual solidarity and self-organisation of the population are necessary for continuing this resistance. International support in various forms also plays a crucial role.
The killing of the Ukrainian people before the eyes of the world and the destruction of independent Ukraine must stop!
A loud international protest against the Russian invasion is more necessary than ever. Broad solidarity with the Ukrainian people is also more necessary than ever!
Peace for Ukraine, no to the Russian war! Immediate cessation of bombing by the Russian army and withdrawal of all Russian tropics from Ukraine.
Solidarity with the Ukrainian people in their justified opposition to the Russian invasion.
